Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Erosional gully cutting the morphological unit of a cuesta of Borek Rocks. In this section ill-sorted coarse grained current bedded sandstones occur. Sandstones are fossiliferous, some ferruginous incrustation were observed. This section is interpreted as an individual prograding delta body.
